In 2015 it was announced that Bartley would play a character played Doyle in an episode of the Fox series 'Lucifer' (2016-) starring Tom Ellis, Lauren German and Lesley-Ann Brandt. A few months later, Netflix acquired the show, picking up another 10 episodes.

Surprisingly A&E chose to cancel the show in August of 2015. The show had a cult following, garnering an average of 5.6 million viewers in its third season. In 2012 Bartley was cast as Ferg in A&E original series 'Longmire.' The show starred Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff and Lou Diamond Phillips, and follows the life of Walt Longmire, the stoic and recently widowed sheriff of a small Wyoming town. Bartley continued to appear in small roles on popular television shows over the next couple of years including 'Bones' (FOX, 2005- ), 'NCIS: Los Angeles'(CBS, 2009-), 'Vegas'(CBS, 2012-13) and 'Justified' (FX, 2010-2015). That same year he also appeared in episodes of 'Criminal Minds' (2005-) on CBS, 'Chuck' (2007-2012) on NBC and web series 'Get Busy' (2011-). Actor Adam Bartley's first television appearance came in 2011 when he appeared in the series '1000 Ways to Die'(2008-) on Spike.
